Orchard Energy is governed by the strict guidelines and standards of the Utility Intermediary Association (UIA). Around 60% of all energy consumed by businesses is bought through third party intermediaries. In the past there have been many complaints from businesses to Energywatch about the way they operate and this has led to a number of like minded companies coming together to form the UIA. Orchard Energy is one of the founder members of the UIA, which operates a code of practice and a redress process for dissatisfied customers.
